"Beyond Borders" – A Successful Partnership with Youth Human Impact

Zavod Krog proudly participated as a partner organization in the international training course “Beyond Borders”, organized by Youth Human Impact in Tykocin, Poland.

Youth Human Impact is a Polish organization dedicated to empowering young people through non-formal education, creative methods, and international cooperation. They focus on providing opportunities for personal development, entrepreneurship, and social engagement, especially for young people facing geographical, economic, or social obstacles. Their work promotes equality, inclusion, and access to meaningful learning experiences.

The project “Beyond Borders” brought together youth workers, educators, and community leaders from different European countries to explore migration, inclusion, and intercultural dialogue.

Throughout the training, we engaged in workshops, simulations, discussions, and creative activities focused on how to support migrant youth, how to speak responsibly and empathetically about migration, and how to combat misinformation.

One of the most powerful aspects of the project was the safe space created for sharing personal stories. We talked openly about migration experiences in our countries, exchanged perspectives, and listened to each other’s realities. These conversations helped build deeper understanding, empathy, and solidarity among participants.

The final outcome of the project was the outdoor exhibition “Moving Stories”. This exhibition consists of photographs accompanied by personal stories of participants. Each image captures a moment, an emotion, or a lived experience connected to migration. Together, they form a collective narrative that invites reflection and encourages dialogue within local communities.

We are extremely satisfied with the results of this cooperation. The project was very well organized, the atmosphere was supportive and inspiring, and the impact on participants was clearly visible. We are grateful to Youth Human Impact for the opportunity to be part of this meaningful initiative and we look forward to future collaborations.
