The Art of Wellbeing,
2023–2024
The Youth exchange project, was implemented in Azerbaijan, brought together four partner organizations: Zavod Krog, Support for youth social development from Azerbaijan, LabPerm from Italy and Youth Empowerment Center from Greece. The project is financed through the Erasmus+ program.
The goals of the Youth exchange "The Art of Wellbeing" are to improve young people's knowledge about mental health, increase their sensitivity and self-reflection about their own psychophysical well-being, and strengthen the use of art-based preventive methods and techniques that they can implement in their everyday life to better cope with stress and increase their resilience. It is important to de-stigmatize mental health among young people, overcome taboos, social pressure and share experiences that, despite our differences, connect us and make us human.
In the Youth exchange, participants will be invited to learn about various mindfulness and relaxation techniques that serve to maintain and improve mental health, and we will explore their use in everyday life circumstances.
By carrying out this project, young people will gain an in-depth understanding of mental health, artistic methods, and informal methodology. The focus was on improving the key skills and abilities of young people, such as leadership skills, conflict and problem solving, critical and creative thinking, and the development of empathy, emotional intelligence, and sensitivity to oneself.
Project duration: 2023 - 2024
Project partners: Zavod Krog (Slovenia), Support for youth social development (Azerbaijan), LabPerm (Italy) and Youth Empowerment Center (Greece)
